Project Maya

Project Maya is an environmental community interest company established by conservation scientists to build a global network of permaculture nature reserves. 'Maya Reserves' are a radically different approach to nature reserves, as they are a holistic place for both people and nature to be together in harmony.

The concept is based on permaculture and on extensive research into conservation and what works. We run a number of support projects to help us achieve this goal. We run campaigns with an urban biodiversity focus, and our 'Maya Academy' training is centred around permaculture, knowledge exchange and using social media to achieve sustainability. To build up the capital we need to buy reserves, we launched a super wildflower gardening product – Seedball.
