Self Help Africa

Works with poor communities in rural Africa where families cannot grow enough food to feed themselves. Jobs are scarce and the lack of clean water, sanitation, education and the threat of HIV gives little hope of a better life. Self Help Africa is making a difference by giving 150,000 people in Zambia, Malawi, Burkino Faso, Ghana, Ethiopa, Kenya, Uganda and Togo, a chance to enjoy a better life. The projects help families grow enough food to eat all year round, find ways to earn a living to pay for necessities like medicines, clothes or school fees, and support community organisations to manage their own future.
