New research from Germany shows that steady and consistent development of offshore wind energy allows for substantial cost reduction

New research from Germany has concluded that the cost of electricity from offshore wind energy can be reduced by about one third if it is consistently developed and growing over the next ten years. The report has obvious implications for the continuing development of the UK offshore wind energy industry. If costs can be driven down across the industry, this will help renewables reach parity with energy produced from fossil fuels. Future Drive Motor Show has evolved from EcoVelocity, the low carbon motor show that attracted 58,000 visitors at its inaugural ExCeL event in 2012. The change is as a direct result of visitor research highlighting that seeing and test driving the latest high-tech vehicles was the most important reason to visit a motor show and that they expected new cars to be more environmentally friendly as standard.

ZenRobotics Ltd delivers the world’s first robotic waste sorting system

Lifeline Ventures, a Finnish technology accelerator, has also participated with a minority stake.
