Description

Educational charity promoting ways of living free from animal products for the benefit of people, animals and the environment. Provides information on veganism to schools, prisons, health care professionals, the media, food manufacturers and individuals. Publishes a quarterly magazine, The Vegan, a shopping guide, The Animal Free Shopper, and a large selection of information sheets and booklets. Also registers vegan products under its trademark scheme. Has a network of local and international contacts.

London Vegans

Description

Exists to promote veganism in the London area, with regular monthly meetings and other social events such as restaurant trips and walks. Produces The London Vegan Diary listing social and campaigning events. Also operates information stalls at various fetes. Regular meetings at 6.30pm on last Wednesday of every month (except December) at the Millman Street Community Rooms, Millman Street, WC1 (entrance through security doorway adjacent to 38a). There is a small admission charge to cover costs.

Description

An international charity that promotes environmentally friendly stock free (animal-free) organic horticulture and agriculture.
