The leading sustainable tourism certification scheme in the UK, GTBS, assesses businesses against a demanding and diverse set of criteria, from energy and water efficiency to waste management and biodiversity. New album features Eden Sessions greatest hits

The Eden Project and Warner Music have released a 2-CD compilation of music by artists who have played at the Eden Sessions, marking the tenth year of the iconic gigs. The collection includes tracks recorded live at the Cornish venue by The Doves, Paolo Nutini and Mumford and Sons.

The Eden Sessions are a series of one-day gigs that take place at Cornwall’s Eden Project every summer. This year’s headliners were Primal Scream, The Flaming Lips, Fleet Foxes, Pendulum and Brandon Flowers. Read more »

Trash app aims to clean up Britain

Britain’s largest on-demand rubbish clearance company, AnyJunk, has scored another first with the launch of an iPhone app which makes disposing of all sorts of trash as simple as a few taps on your mobile screen.

Jason Mohr, founder of theinnovative waste disposal company, said that with the proliferation of smartphone use it was a logical move for his high-tech company to provide an app to make it easier and more efficient for customers to communicate with AnyJunk to organise waste collection. Read more »
