  • UK Rainwater Management Association

    Email:

An association established to enable organisations and companies engaged in the UK rainwater harvesting industry to work together, to assist in the development of the industry and to work in partnership with other organisations to promote the development of the industry. The concept of capturing rainwater and storing it later for re-use is well-appreciated in an historical and global context although in industrialised countries, until recently, the practice has largely died away with the introduction of reliable mains-supplied water. With the ever-growing demand for water, and the known adverse impacts this can have on local environments, the UK market demand for rainwater harvesting systems is on the increase – mirroring what has already taken place in other industrialised countries.

  • Rainharvesting Systems Ltd

    Email:

Designs and sells systems for harvesting rainwater from the roof of buildings and marking it available for use within the building where the high quality of mains drinking water is not necessary. For domestic use this would normally be for toilet flush, clothes washing and garden irrigation but with further treatment more uses can be catered for. With commercial systems, schools, factories, farms etc, the water can be used for toilets, process water, cleaning, irrigation, or any use that requires a high volume of non-potable water.
