    Café Môr

    Email:

The Pembrokeshire Beach Food Company began as a small street food trader, doing local markets around the county. Our signature ‘Seashore Wraps’ turned out to be very popular and suddenly we were thrust into the British Street Food Awards. Our beach shack won multiple golds including ‘Best of the Best 2011’. Café Môr at Freshwater West was awarded ‘Best British Street Food/Take Away in the UK’ at the BBC Radio 4 Food & Farming Awards 2014, so it’s well worth a trip to one of the most beautiful beaches in Pembrokeshire for lunch! Café Môr is situated in the main car park and is accessible to anyone. Public toilets are available. The car park is gravel and somewhat uneven. Parking is free. Access to the beach is a slope, unfortunately unsuitable for wheelchair users. Camping in the car park or surrounding area is not permitted by the National Trust.

    Blas Burgerworks

    Email:

Provenance is high on our list of credentials. We know where our cattle and poultry live, our bacon is local and our fish is from sustainable stocks. We use local dairy produce – cheeses, milk and ice cream and whenever possible, source our veggies locally. Our incredible vegetarian and vegan burgers are handmade using organic black beans; generous amounts of walnuts; turmeric, cracked black pepper and heaps of other good stuff. For those of you with nut allergies we hand make a fabulous tofu burger. On top of this, did you know all our vegetarian and vegan burgers can be enhanced with grilled marinated tempeh? All our sauces; aioli; chilli relish; salsas; pickles; piccalilli, preserved lemons; fermented kimchi; brownies; salted caramel; honeycomb; lemonade, kombucha and so much more are handmade by Ange using her very own recipes. We use Cornish potatoes and hand cut all our chips – it’s a labour of love! We have been proud of our green credentials for the last 11 years but if you are new to Blas and want to know more just ask. Why all this love and attention? So you can eat our burgers and feel good body and soul.

    The Pembrokeshire Beach Food Company

This success meant that we were able to cater at the London 2012 Olympic Games and our local, sustainable, seafood went down a treat with the athletes. In 2014 we took Silver at Glastonbury Music Festival’s ‘Green’ awards for our ethical packaging and food. Our speciality deli products materialised as a natural extension of the recipes sold on the beach shack, the sea foraged goodies really took off in Spring 2013. At Freshwater West we trade locally caught crab and lobster as well as our Beach Burgers and Bacon butties with Welsh Sea Black Butter which are from down the road in Yerberston. Cafe Môr at Freshwater West was awarded ‘Best British Street Food/Take Away in the UK’ at the BBC Radio 4 Food and Farming  awards 2014, so well worth a trip to one of the most beautiful beaches in Pembrokeshire for lunch!

O’Dohertys award-winning Black Bacon and fresh dry cure bacon are cured naturally from selected fresh quality pork and left to season naturally, just as you would a good wine! O’Doherty’s are constantly striving for the best quality in locally sourced food. That is why they rear their own rare bread pigs – because as everyone knows, a happy pig is a tasty pig. Coleshill Organics

    Email:

Coleshill Organics was started on a small farm at Watchfield in 1995; from an initial two acres this has grown to about seven acres in total now. The box scheme operates from within the walled garden in Coleshill, on the Oxfordshire/Wiltshire border. Free delivery is offered to collection points and individual homes within a 15 mile radius of Coleshill. New customers signing up to receive a regular box delivery get their fifth box free. There is also a farm shop located within the walled garden which is open from Wednesday to Saturday. Coleshill has thousands of visitors each year, mostly school/college groups who pick and eat their way around the garden and hopefully develop a lasting desire to know where their food originates from. The business grew out of a passion to provide local people with the highest quality fresh produce. Coleshill Organics can also be found every Saturday from 9am until 2pm at Cornhill Market Place (and surrounding streets), Stroud, GL5 2HH.
