Our range of award-winning, organic dairy products has earned us an enviable reputation as one of Scotland’s most respected artisan creameries. As one of our earliest work ventures, we started making cheese at Loch Arthur in 1985 from the milk of our two Jersey and two Ayrshire cows. From these humble beginnings our cheeses have become recognised and sought after and are now produced in our purpose built Creamery and sold throughout the UK. As members of the Specialist Cheesemakers Association we are one of many small creameries representing the modern renaissance of artisan cheeses now being produced in Great Britain. Every year since 1991 our cheeses have received awards and accolades in some of the top cheese competitions in the UK. All of our handmade, organic, farmhouse cheeses are produced from the milk of our own biodynamic farm and local organic farms, and are certified by the Biodynamic Agricultural Association (BDAA Organic Certification UK6). They are all produced using vegetarian rennet. Our extensive range of cheeses and dairy products are sold in our own Farm Shop and in fine cheese shops and delicatessens throughout the UK. Our cheeses can also be ordered online. Loch Arthur is part of the Camphill Village Trust which encompasses several communities whose life and work incorporate adults with special needs. The wo

Simon explained, “Our policy at Riverside Organic is to produce the finest organic meats from traditional breeds such as Hereford, Aberdeen Angus & Welsh Black. We take the view that although these breeds often take longer to finish the extra efforts are rewarded with superb quality & taste. We grow all the feed for the cattle on the farm giving us complete traceability.” The land drops away from the farmstead to the flood meadows of the Dane Valley which provides habitat for a number of important species, including lapwing, partri

Hodmedod works with British farmers to offer a range of pulses and grains, with a commitment to providing quality food that’s as sustainably produced as possible. All our pulses and grains are British-grown – and always will be! Our first product was the fava bean, grown in Britain since the Iron Age but little eaten in recent centuries. They’re delicious, nutritious and good for the soil and bees. Split fava beans are especially versatile and easy to cook as they don’t need soaking. More recently we’ve been searching out and developing production of other less well-known foods, like black badger peas and quinoa. We offer our products as dried ingredients for cooking as well as in more accessible cans and as roasted ready-to-eat snacks.

We are an independent local wine shop in Walthamstow, E17. Specialising in natural and organic wines, local craft beers and selected spirits. We came to create Forest Wines because the local wine shop we wanted did not exist in Walthamstow. We were after a place that would offer drinks for every occasion – simple wines for the everyday table, great wines for those special occasions, and craft beers and selected spirits for everything in between. We wanted a place that’s a product of passion, where we could stop by and pick up a bottle on our way from work, chat to someone who knows their products, and get a sense of a local community.

We also deliver cheese and beer to anywhere in the UK.
