Zipcar is a car club – the world’s largest car club network currently operating in London, Bristol, Oxford and Cambridge (and 500+ cities in the US and Canada, plus locations in Turkey, Taiwan, Iceland and Costa Rica). Joining Zipcar gives you access to the car or van you need when you need it, perfectly maintained but with none of the hassle or expense or ownership. Zipcar is far simpler and more convenient than conventional car hire. Once a member, when you need a car, just choose your make and model from the great selection parked around your local area; get in and drive off. You can hire cars for roundtrips or one-way journeys, or use a van or commercial vehicle.

  • Living Streets Wales

    Email:

Living Streets is the national charity that stands up for pedestrians. In Wales, we want to create a walking nation, free from congested roads and pollution, reducing the risk of preventable illness and social isolation and making walking the natural choice. Thanks to the Active Travel (Wales) Act, every Local Authority in Wales must draw up plans for a network of walking and cycling routes called Integrated Network Maps. These routes should connect homes to places like schools, workplaces, shops, services, parks and leisure facilities. We want communities to be connected to each other so there is better cohesion, making short local journeys easier on foot than by car.

Living Streets is the national charity that stands up for pedestrians. In Scotland, we want to create a walking nation, free from congested roads and pollution, reducing the risk of preventable illness and social isolation and making walking the natural choice. We believe that getting Scotland walking means progress for everyone. We work with professionals and politicians to make sure every community can enjoy vibrant streets and public spaces. Our Walk to School and Walk to Work campaigns reach every area of Scotland. Through our Walkable Communities project, we empower community groups to deliver improvements to their walking environment.

  • Living Streets

    Email:

Living Streets is the national charity that stands up for pedestrians. With our supporters we work to create safe, attractive and enjoyable streets, where people want to walk. We have been the national voice for pedestrians throughout our 90 year history. In the early years, our campaigning led to the introduction of the driving test, pedestrian crossings and 30mph speed limits. Since then our ambition has grown. Today we influence decision makers nationally and locally, run successful projects to encourage people to walk, and provide specialist consultancy services to help reduce congestion and carbon emissions, improve public health, and make sure every community can enjoy vibrant streets and public spaces.

  • Shiply

    Email:

Shiply is the UK eco-friendly transport marketplace where you can list any items you want to send, ship or move within the UK. You will then receive competitive bids from couriers and transport companies looking to fill their empty load space and pass the savings onto you. Not only does this bag you a fantastic deal, but you’re also helping the environment by keeping those lorries already on our heavily congested roads, full to capacity. Founded in 2008, Shiply.com matches people needing to move goods with transport companies going there anyway. Over 25 per cent of lorries run completely empty of cargo and over 50 per cent run only part-full. By enabling consumers and businesses to make use of this spare capacity, Shiply.com dramatically cuts down on CO2 emissions, increases the profitability of transport companies and saves the consumer up to 75 per cent.
