Sudbury Farmers’ Market was relaunched in May 2012 and is now one of the busiest town centre farmers’ markets in Suffolk. The market is held on the last Friday of each month in St Peters, Market Hill right in the centre of town and is the perfect place to stock up on all your food shopping. Sudbury Farmers’ Market is a thriving, buzzing hub of activity with people queuing to buy John’s amazing vegetables even before the doors properly open!
Over thirty traders fill St Peter’s selling a fantastic range of the very best, fresh, local produce and a small selection of the highest quality, hand produced crafts.
Produce on offer each month includes fresh fish from Burwell, local venison, pork & beef, home baked cakes, local honey, Suffolk mushrooms, Suffolk pies, freshly baked bread, jams and chutneys and an amazing selection of locally grown fresh vegetables.
There is a wonderful café available which is run by the Sudbury based charity, The Bridge Project, that serves delicious scones, sandwiches and great coffee.
Run by Justine Paul, Suffolk’s Food & Drink Hero 2015.
